HI Katie – Thanks for the step-by-step explanation of the new Facebook messaging system. I have just set up a Facebook page for my CRM software business and haven’t been prompted to use this service yet – maybe I’ll get it later in the “roll-out” process. It seems like a useful tool although the potential for getting a lot of “offline” messages seems greater now.

I know you said “Thanks” and “Great post!” aren’t the best kinds of comments to leave but I have to say thanks for the great post But wait, I have more…

I really like your point about not setting up social media platforms to simply promote, promote, promote your business’ products and services. The best social media users, and really the most successful ones, are those that understand that Twitter and Facebook are about relationships. I read on Twitter’s site about a coffee shop that will take orders by tweet – direct contact with customers, relationship building, meeting their needs and making them feel special – Perfect! And helping with linkbuilding and SEO, pretty ingenius.

Just some thoughts I had! Keep up the posting!
